MANAGING PARTNER
Md. Saimum Hossain, CFA, is a tech-entrepreneur, investment analyst, and educator. He has specialization in business plan development, investment risk analysis and company valuation.
He started his research and analysis career in the Bangladesh office of a macro-focused global hedge fund based out of New York as a buy-side investment analyst in June 2013 and subsequently switched to sell-side equity research. He also worked with the Equity Research Team of IDLC Securities Limited, in the capacity of a Consultant.
Apart from being a self-made entrepreneur, he teaches finance at Faculty of Business Students (FBS), University of Dhaka.
Saimum graduated from the Faculty of Business Studies (FBS), University of Dhaka with a major in Finance and completed his MBA from Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka.
LEAD ANALYST
Mohammad Salahuddin Chowdhury, ACA, qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the year 2010 and also holds a MBA in Finance from the University of Dhaka and BBA in Finance from the University of Dhaka. He is experienced in audit, assurance and financial consultancy of local and multinational companies and banks. He is an ex-Member of the expert panel constituted by Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) for evaluation of IPO application of companies.
He started his career with KPMG Rahman Rahman Huq, where he received extensive training in IFRS and KPMG audit methodology. He worked as a resource person in IFRS training organized for employees of the central Bank of Bangladesh - Bangladesh Bank, and is engaged in designing and conducting training programs on Security Analysis & Portfolio Management in Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE). Under his belt is a published text book named ‘FINANCE AND BANKING’ and several research articles on capital market and rural finance.
He currently teaches Finance as an Assistant Professor in the department of Finance, University of Dhaka.
